MultiTask Tool Head |
| Exact Technology's Cutting Machines have been further enhanced with the introduction of the MultiTask tool head. The MultiTask tool head offers much more than conventional cutting, creasing and scoring. It is a universal tool head that was designed to offer the customer significant cost savings by enabling future tooling developments to be integrated within its existing functionality. |

| Vision Registration System Introduction |
Exact Technology is pleased to introduce the Vision Registration System (VRS) as an additional feature to the MultiTask tool head. The VRS allows die-less cutting of printed materials for the packaging, display, point of sale and even membrane switch panel applications, improving productivity, quality, and cost savings.
The VRS locates up to 4 registration marks or punched holes in the material. The system analysis the materials position on the cutting bed and automatically compensates for any offsets such as material skew, shrinkage and expansion. |
| Vision Registration System Benefits |
| The main benefits of the VRS are: |
- Cost saving
Significant cost savings are found by achieving a much higher quality pass rate. Printed sheets are accurately cut improving production throughput, consistency, and inevitably reducing material wastage.
- Time saving
The job set-up time is reduced with automatic loading of material. The Sheet Feeder System automatically loads printed sheets of material from a stack at the rear of the machine. The conveyor belt advances the printed sheets to the cutting area where the VRS locates the registration marks before cutting commences. Once cut, the sheet is advanced to the take off table at the front of the machine whilst the second sheet is loaded.
- Accurate cutting
The VRS automatically compensates for material skew, shrinkage and expansion, ensuring precise cutting every time.
- Increased Productivity
Overall production time reduced with the combination of the VRS, cutting and creasing in one tool head.
