The Exact XTC conveyorised-bed cutter is a fast, reliable and durable cutting machine that is designed to offer maximum through-put of cut parts and improve the efficency of removing cut components from the cutting machine.
Advantages of the Conveyorised-bed
The continuous cutting operation performed by the XTC Conveyorised-bed offers maximum production throughput. Unlike many other production solutions employing hard tooling (Glossary: hard tooling), the XTC is able to process multiple component profiles in one cutting sequence. The XTC can also produce components longer than the nominal working length of the machine with accurate joining of cut parts.
Roll or sheet form material is fed onto the bed of the machine into the cutting zone. Once the components are cut, the conveyorised-bed feeds the parts to a take off area located at the front of the machine. Alternatively, to ensure space is kept to a minimum, the material is transferred into bins placed next to the machine or re-wound into rolls. The operator can strip the cut parts whilst the machine automatically reloads the material and the cutting process continues.
