Flexible Tooling

Exact Technology has designed a 45 knife specifically for the production of picture mounts. Additional tooling is available such as plotting pen for producing text, creasing tool for the production of protective corners for frames and presentation boxes, a router which gives the ability to produce photo frames and an Ink Jet Printer for full colour graphics output.

High Volume Production

The Mount Master is available with the option of a static or conveyorised cutting bed. Ideal for the high volume framer, the conveyorised range eliminates the need to stop and restart the machine once the mount board has been cut. The continuous cutting operation performed by the conveyorised machine offers maximum through-put of cut mounts. Sheets of mount board can be individually loaded from the rear of the cutting machine into the "cutting zone". Once cut, the conveyor belt feeds the board to a take off table located at the front of the machine, where the operator can remove the mounts whilst the machine automatically reloads the next board and the cutting process continues.
