The Exact Technology Gasket Cutter provides a turnkey solution for design, rapid prototyping and manufacturing, coupled with a unique software package that makes the design process simple and accurate. The Exact Gasket Cutter is used world-wide automating the labour intensive operation of cutting components and profiles by hand.

Traditional gasket cutting methods are time consuming and costly. The ability to produce prototypes quickly and accurately, whilst maximising material usage are key factors in any production environment. Once the gaskets are loaded into the CAD System, the operator has the flexibility to make any necessary design modifications before cutting.

Repeatability and accuracy are assured every time reducing the rejection rate, increasing production throughput and reducing the cost of gasket prototyping and production runs.

The continuous cutting operation performed by the conveyor-bed offers increased production throughput of cut parts. Roll or sheet form material is fed onto the bed of the machine into the cutting zone. Once the gaskets are cut, the conveyor-bed feeds the gaskets onto a "take off" area located at the front of the machine. The operator can strip the cut gaskets whilst the machine automatically reloads the material and the cutting process continues.

Tool Head Flexibility

The flexible tooling combination enables the full spectrum of gasket materials including CNAF, cork, rubber, foam, graphite, PTFE, plastics and many more to be cut. Additional tool heads can be fitted such as a router for milling and drilling, a Rapid Part Marker for labelling cut components, a foam head for cutting up to 3 inches thick foam and a scanning head for tracing templates into the CAD system, increasing the machines functionality.
